Slice Soda

Slice was a fan-favorite soda of the 80’s and 90’s and relaunched in 2025 as a healthy soda (move over, Poppi). To make a big, carbonated, splash we threw it all the way back and created a real FM radio station: 106.3 The Fizz, LA’s spot for “yesterday’s pop hits that didn’t exist until now.” The station played a three-hour loop of nostalgic tracks all about soda. We paired a ton of human creativity and craft with Google & Suno’s latest AI tools to help amplify the stunt, and it was all featured at Cannes for Google’s AI Showcase.

I got to sit down with AdAge & Google to chat about The Fizz - check out the exclusive story here.

And if all this AI tech is too much for you, keep scrolling to see what we did with thrifted fax machines…

Launching Slice was all about creating a summer time machine.
We kicked it off by sending influencers a PR unboxing kit from the past - literally.
We thrifted real, working fax machines to let them know Slice Soda was back from the 80’s.

The Slice summer time machine helped the new brand pop off - it surpassed Poppi on the charts, becoming the #2 Healthy Soda in the Natural Healthy Beverage category.
